General and Family Dentistry
Every patient receives a thorough dental exam to screen for diseases not only related to the mouth, but also the head, neck, and overall health. This includes an oral cancer screening at each routine appointment. We conduct preventive care visits that include cleanings, fluoride, and x-rays as needed to help pre-screen and diagnose tooth decay in its earliest stages. We also offer preventive appliances like night guards to prevent abnormal tooth wear due to grinding.
Comprehensive Exams - Every new patient receives a comprehensive exam that assesses their dental health, evaluates their bite, and any issues as they relate to the function of the mouth. From the development of their permanent teeth to identifying cavities while they are as small as possible, we want to see your smile last an entire lifetime.
Oral Cancer Screenings - At each visit, Dr. Delmonico conducts a visual and manual oral cancer screening to identify precancerous or abnormal tissue in its earliest stages. More adults are diagnosed with oral cancer than ever before, so screening is an important step that should never be taken for granted. The earlier diagnosis is made, the more effective the treatment can be.
Hygiene Services - We perform routine dental cleanings to remove disease causing tartar and plaque from the teeth. This keeps gum tissues healthy, and teeth stable. One of the pieces of equipment that we utilize is a Cavitron ultrasonic scaler. This smooth instrument literally vibrates small particles of tartar right off of the tooth, as well as irrigates bacteria away from the area.
Periodontal Therapy - Gum disease is the leading contributing factor to adult tooth loss. Bacteria under the gums can cause gum tissue to detach, and also the breakdown of bone that’s adjacent to and supporting the teeth. The loss of this bone can eventually lead to tooth loss. Deep cleanings are an effective treatment to remove these bacteria and get patients back on the road to a healthy mouth. If needed, we will also place an antibiotic in the areas of severe infection to dramatically improve the their rate of healing.
Fluoride Treatments - Replacing minerals back into weak or compromised tooth enamel helps teeth fight off cavities, sensitivity, and decalcification. We place fluoride after dental cleanings once a year for our pediatric patients, and on adults as needed.
Night Guards - Chronic tooth grinding can cause premature tooth wear, jaw pain, tooth loss, fracturing of the teeth, and damage to dental restorations. Custom-made bruxism appliances can be worn at night when you sleep, preventing the wear from taking place.
Sleep Apnea - Do you snore? Do you often wake up still feeling tired and cranky? You could have sleep apnea, a serious sleep breathing disorder. Sleep apnea can lead to everything from chronic headaches, impaired memory and judgment, and mood disturbances to heart attacks and dangerous driving. That’s why we take diagnosing and treating sleep apnea so seriously. Our small, custom-made splints treat mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea by gently moving the jaw forward, tightening the soft tissue and muscles of the upper airway, and preventing obstruction of the airway. And if you have already been diagnosed with sleep apnea and have difficulty using a CPAP, we can help you too! Our splints offer a comfortable alternative to forced air treatment.
Emergency Care - If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, call our office immediately. We will work to fit you into our schedule as soon as possible. If you’re calling after hours, please always leave us a message on our answering machine and also follow the directions to call Dr. Delmonico’s after hours cell phone.

Cosmetic Dentistry
Do you have a healthy smile, but a desire to improve the way it looks? A wide variety of cosmetic options are available to patients to help them whiten, re-shape, or even cover their teeth so that they have a brand new smile. Every smile makeover and cosmetic treatment plan is customized to meet the individual needs and goals of each patient. Whether it’s one tooth or all of the teeth you want to change, we’re here to make it happen and give you the smile that you’ve always wanted.
Porcelain Veneers - Veneers are thin, tooth colored shells of porcelain that are placed over the front of teeth to create a brand new appearance! They are custom designed to be the color, size, and shape that gives you the overall smile you always wished you had. Veneers can correct the appearance of teeth that are crooked, gapped, misshapen, and discolored.
Full Mouth Restoration - Multiple decayed, broken, or missing teeth can seem overwhelming, but with phased treatment that focuses on restoring dental health to the entire mouth, oral health is returned and it never looked better. Most full mouth restoration cases involve a combination of different treatments, based on the patient’s individual needs.
Gum and Tooth Reshaping - An irregular or overgrown gum line, or varying tooth sizes, can really affect the aesthetics of your smile. Our gum and tooth reshaping procedures can quickly correct these cosmetic problems and dramatically improve your appearance with very little recovery time. We simply smooth and perfect the contours, adjusting tooth edges or removing excess gum tissue for a flawless, brilliant smile.
Composite Bonding - Small chips or discrepancies in the teeth can be reversed by applying tooth colored bonding material to the area and shaping it into the desired form. Bonding can also be used to close up gaps or spaces between teeth. The material is carefully shaded to match the tooth, so that it blends right in.
Smile Whitening - Custom whitening trays with our take-home professional whitening gel gives you whitening results that no store-bought kit can compete with. Each tray is designed to hold the whitening gel directly against all surfaces of the tooth, creating even results that make your teeth look years younger, and shades brighter. By using our in-office whitening options in conjunction with the take-home trays, we can enhance and speed the whitening process along to give you a dazzling smile in less time.

Restorative Dentistry
Repairing, Restoring, and Reviving Smiles, One Tooth at a Time
Fractures, cavities, trauma, and missing teeth shouldn’t be something that our patients have to worry about; we’re here to take that concern away and make it our own. We provide comprehensive restorative treatments that can repair your smile no matter how mild or severe your needs are.Repairing broken or missing teeth is important to keep our patients smiling, eating well, and living a healthy lifestyle. We offer tooth colored fillings and dental restorations so that treatment not only makes your mouth healthier, it makes it look good, too. All procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and more, are performed right here in our office.
Composite, Tooth Colored Fillings - Metal free, composite fillings require less tooth preparation and rebuild damaged teeth. They also blend in with the color of the tooth, making them more appealing than metal fillings.
Porcelain Inlays & Onlays - Inlays and onlays restore teeth that are more severely damaged than what a filling is capable of restoring, but they also preserve natural tooth enamel. Sometimes these are called “three quarter crowns” because they only cover a portion of the tooth rather than all of it.
Crowns & Bridges - Porcelain crowns and bridges are used to repair or replace missing teeth. Crowns are placed over individual, damaged teeth. Bridges look like 3 or 4 crowns fused together, correcting an area where there are one to two missing teeth between otherwise healthy teeth.
Partials - Partial dentures are used when several teeth are missing, but there are still some very healthy teeth in the mouth. The prosthesis snaps into place around natural teeth, giving it a secure fit.
Dentures - Full mouth dentures are an economical, straightforward approach to replacing all of the teeth at one time.
Dental Implants - Dental implants are a secure choice for when one or more teeth are missing. A preferred choice for replacing a single tooth or multiple back teeth are conventional dental implants, where we work together with an oral surgeon or periodontist to place the implant or implants. After the implant has been placed, Dr. Delmonico can restore the implant or implants with the appropriate crown or bridge option. Mini dental implants are a new treatment technique that allows dentures and partial dentures to fit more securely. Mini dental implants have a considerably shorter recovery time and can be placed right in our office during just one dental appointment. There are no incisions and no sutures, which means healing is fast and comfortable. Often your implant supported dentures or partials can be placed the same day so you can leave our office with a comfortable, new smile you can be proud of.
Root Canal Therapy - Inside every tooth is a pulp full of nutrients and nerves. If this pulp becomes diseased or injured, and is not removed, your tooth will very likely become painfully infected and may be lost. Fortunately, even teeth with disease deep in the nerve can be saved through root canals, ending your pain and eliminating the need for an extraction. We simply remove the pulp, clean and seal the root canal, and place a crown to make your tooth strong and healthy, and to keep out bacteria.
Oral Surgery - Dental extractions may be needed due to emergencies, gum disease, severe damage, or orthodontic treatments. We perform all minor tooth extractions here in our office, and make sure our patients are well taken care of afterward.
